To improve the living conditions of rural communities in a sustainable manner by strengthening the capacities of smallholder farmers, livestock breeders, beekeepers, unemployed youth, women, and landless households.
The project seeks to increase incomes, promote social inclusion, and reduce the vulnerability of populations to the effects of climate change. Through an integrated, participatory, and sustainable approach, PADERMO focuses on promoting local industries such as arboriculture, livestock farming, and beekeeping, while also promoting rural entrepreneurship, natural resource conservation, and gender equality.
Drawing on lessons learned from previous IFAD interventions, the project targets the most vulnerable areas and incorporates enhanced technical assistance to ensure the sustainability of actions and the strengthening of local capacities.
